This guide explains how to integrate FunnelVision with HubSpot and Slack, step-by-step.
1. Connect HubSpot
- In HubSpot, open the FunnelVision App Marketplace listing and click Install App.
- Log into your HubSpot account and select the portal you’d like to connect.
- Review and approve the permissions requested. FunnelVision uses OAuth 2.0 for secure access — no private app tokens are required.
- After authorisation, you’ll be redirected automatically to the FunnelVision setup page.
You’ll see a confirmation message in FunnelVision once the HubSpot connection is active.
2. Connect Slack
- On the FunnelVision setup page, click Connect Slack.
- Approve access to your Slack workspace when prompted.
3. Create Your First Hygiene Rule
- In FunnelVision, go to Rules → Create New Rule.
- Select a condition you want to monitor, for example:
- “No activity for 3 days after a meeting”
- “Deal amount changed by 20%”
- “Deal stuck in stage for 10 days”
- Choose the action to be taken when conditions are met e.g. sending Slack request to the deal owner; flagging as a hygiene issue to appear in the dashboard; send the update request to channel in Slack.
- Click Save Rule.
FunnelVision will now monitor your HubSpot deals in real time and send alerts when those conditions are met.
4. View and Fix Hygiene Issues
- Open the Hygiene Dashboard in FunnelVision to see the overall health of your pipeline.
- Click into the Fix Issues Dashboard to view all deals with missing or outdated data.
- Each listed issue links directly to the relevant HubSpot record for quick updates.
